Spirit of the Eagle Presentations offers various options for your school, library, or youth organization to learn about aspects of Native American Culture. Our programs bring the education to you at your location. All presentations can be adapted from one hour to all day programs.

Learn how the Western Sioux people lived in their nomadic style of life with this awesome presentation. Tipi etiquette, gender roles, decoration,the education of children and more are taught in this highly informative presentation. Life on the Plains delivers a rare opportunity for students to experience a 16 or a 20 foot Tipi constructed on your school grounds. Life on the Plains can be presented either indoors (year round availability) or outside (weather permitting). Programs can vary in length from one hour sessions to all day events. Small groups and whole school presentations are all available. Life on the Plains can be adapted to fit the needs of your group, school, library or nature center.
Travel back in time to learn about the buffalo and its role in Native life. Important values such as respect, tradition and generosity are demonstrated. Online curriculum information is available.

The Lakota or Western Sioux were nomadic tribesmen who used every portion of the buffalo in an effort to survive. The animal's life is highly respected and regarded. See many ways the buffalo was fashioned into tools, toys and everyday items. Various authentic buffalo bladders, stomach, animal skins and more are used to teach in this program. Students will often sit on skins and blankets as they learn about the topic. Questions are encouraged in this program which makes each program highly unique. It is a great addition to scouting dinners, libraries, and multicultural fairs.
Sessions average one hour in length. Multiple sessions throughout a day are also available. Audience sizes vary in size from small groups to larger whole school affairs. Artifacts programs may also be joined with our Native American Storytelling presentations to accommodate audiences with multiple ages present.

Stories are echoes from the past. Hear tales that make animals and history come alive! Generations past learned about their world by the stories that were told to them. Children were taught lessons from their elders through a rich oral history. Discover the reasons why bears have short tails or why porcupines can't throw their quills. This program contains a mixture of Native American tales from many tribes that are engaging and enjoyable as well as educational. Native Myths provide excellent lessons for living. Stories contain many levels of interpretation which makes it an excellent choice for all ages of students, both young and old.
A fantastic addition to school family reading nights, Scouting advancement dinners, campfire programs, Libraries and much more. A highly adaptable program for small groups and large audiences. Storytelling programs are often joined with Artifact presentations to allow many different ages of students and adults the opportunity to view the program at once. Programs average one hour in length with multiple sessions available throughout the day.
