Why choose Living History Presentations?
|
Living history presentations aid teachers by bringing history alive for their
students! Students are able to interact with someone from the "past" which
creates a memorable experience that is not soon to be forgotten. Since every
student learns in many different forms, living history programs stimulate the
senses of students, thus assisting their comprehension of Native American
culture.
My hands on approach to teaching history makes the history books come alive
for young and old alike. This approach is superior to a traditional museum
tour by allowing students to handle items rather than viewing them in glass
cases. This interactive style of education engages students and aids in the
learning process.
Personally, I feel that this experience is wonderful for all who experience it. It is
just plain fun! Children of all ages have informed me over the years of the
many things that they have learned. In my travels, I have even had past
students who have not just remembered the experience itself, but also
information from it too! In my opinion, that is why you should choose Living
History Programs.

Native American Cultural Presentations
|
Spirit of the Eagle Presentations provides living
history programs based on Native American
culture for various ages of children, scouting
organizations and libraries. These programs
have been proven beneficial to numerous groups
over the past eleven years.
My goal is to educate people in Native American
Culture by involving them in the learning
process. This involvement allows the student to
experience history from a first person perspective.
My programs have assisted teachers across the
state of Illinois by adding a valuable resource to
their curriculum.
